'The best method of schooling I have found.' (video)


Most parents of young children soon to be entering school have heard of “Montessori,” but many may not know what it’s about and how it differs from more traditional education.

The Grosse Pointe Academy, home to Michigan’s longest continuous-running Montessori program, is pleased to offer up a five-minute YouTube video produced by “Montessori Madman” Trevor Eissler that in very simple “hand-drawn” terms and images clearly defines the difference between the innovative Montessori program and conventional elementary education.

Trevor (The Maddest Man in Montessori) Eissler is the author of “Montessori Madness! A Parent to Parent Argument for Montessori Education” and several books for children. Eissler’s day job is flying corporate airplanes. His three children were all Montessori students.
