Lower and Intermediate Schools

The creative, inquisitive, and cognitive foundation built in the Early School flourishes in grades 1 through 5 in the Academy’s Lower and Intermediate Schools. Students transition to a traditional classroom, where an academic core is supported by empirical inquiry and self-expression through music, world languages, technology, art, and physical education.

Students learn to correlate abstract concepts and concrete ideas, and build upon basic skills and facilities. Here, students begin their lifelong pursuit of excellence by solving problems, expanding their worldview, and practicing new ways of learning.
