Grade Six witnesses a powerful transition from Intermediate to Middle School, as students quickly adapt to their new responsibilities with eagerness and uncommon maturity.
From the sixth grade onward, the Middle School curriculum puts new emphasis on individual accountability and critical thinking. Students are entrusted with their own success and inspired by passionate faculty and individualized instruction that encourages students to follow their interests and dreams.
Grade 6 Curriculum:
- Literature and writing
- Grammar and composition
- Social studies
- World languages (French or Spanish)
- Visual and performing arts
- Christian life
- Physical education
- Electives courses, one per trimester. Courses encompass the arts (Glee, ceramics, photography), life skills (farm to table, sewing, nutrition) business skills (the step-by-step process of starting and running a business) and technology education (Google Suite, coding, app design, video production).
